BACK O SCHOOL CAMPAIGNE :EMPOWERING 100 ORPHANS/DISABLE CHILDREN OF St. Arnile Marie Handicap/Orphanage Center

On September 6, 2025, a visit was conducted to the St. Arnile Marie Handicap/Orphanage Center to support 100 pupils as part of the AWEC Back to School Campaign. Essential didactic materials, including books, pens, pencils, rulers, and erasers, were distributed to empower the children for their educational journey. The event was marked by the presence of the Hadassah Foundation, enhancing community engagement and support. Interactive sessions were held to discuss the importance of education and encourage the children to aspire toward their goals. Additionally, sensitization efforts focused on topics such as toxic masculinity, child protection, and violence prevention, aimed at promoting a healthier understanding of social issues among adolescents.

The visit significantly impacted the children, fostering a sense of empowerment and motivation as they received the necessary resources for their learning. The collaboration with the Hadassah Foundation and the awareness sessions on critical social issues contributed to a safer and more supportive environment for the children. Moving forward, it is essential to conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor academic progress, mobilize additional resources, and continue sensitization efforts to ensure a brighter future for those at the St. Arnile Marie Handicap/Orphanage Center.
